Basic Rules Of Surfing

Do not let anyone tell you that surfing is an illegal free-for-all, is not the basic structure or rules. Above all, it must comply with the heaviest of all the rules ... rules of nature. So sit back, before paddling as conditions can quickly get out of hand. Rip currents and reef diving can be deadly.

The next level of surfing, where the rules are social norms that were established in the last decades of surf interaction. It is a way of ensuring a certain order in the water.

Priority

The first and most important rule of surfing is that the user gets his feet first and living water (the breaking of the wave) is a priority (in theory, but not the reality, which has to surf the wave).

Sometimes, however, two surfers stand at the same time on a continuous wave. In this case, the priority of decency and hope dark basic human takes over. Perhaps a compromise where surfers ride the wave together or separate, can be reached, but make sure that the clashes occurred in the queue. Remember, no wave is worth a fight, the more people and let go.

Surf the golden rule: no decline

If you do not want to be an outcast or a target of aggression, never give up on another surfer. If a user is and riding this wave is his. Remove the front surfer who is a serious violation of the rule of surfing's most coveted.

Surfers and kayakers: Who is responsible?

Most surfers say it is the responsibility of the paddler to leave the path of the surfer rides the wave. This is true for most, but safety is the real priority. This means that the surfer on the wave (which has more room to maneuver in this situation) should be cautious and even if it means losing an entire section of the wave.
